Who We Are
Back in September 2024, the Undergraduate Business Law Association (UBLA) started with a simple idea: UCLA needed a place for students who are passionate about both business and law. We saw so many students interested in how these two fields work together, but there wasn’t a single community to connect them with each other, with professionals, and with real-world opportunities. In just our first year, we’ve grown from that one idea into a thriving club of over 65 active members—a sign of just how many Bruins share this passion.
Our mission is to clear the path for your future, whether you’re aiming for a J.D., an M.B.A., or a top role in the corporate world. We focus on bridging the gap between your classes and your career. We do this by giving our members access to events that actually matter: Q&A sessions with partners from top law firms, tours of L.A. offices, practical LSAT prep workshops, and social mixers where you can build a genuine network.
UBLA is more than just another pre-law or business club; we’re a launchpad. We’re still growing, and our main goal is to make sure every member walks away with the knowledge, connections, and confidence to tackle whatever comes next.
